Hatz B-Series

The Right Solution for Ultra-Compact and Small Applications

Whether optimized for limited installation space, low emissions, quiet operation, or integration into Hatz Digital Solutions, these engines provide reliable, efficient, and future-ready power for a wide range of machines.

The realization of ambitious development goals required numerous technical innovations that continue to distinguish the Hatz B-Series from comparable engines on the market. One example is the patented SCS (Single Cam System), used in the mechanically controlled models. This system actuates both the injection pump and valves using a single cam while also integrating an automatic decompression mechanism – resulting in a compact, efficient, and highly reliable design since 1995.

High Performance

The Hatz D-Series is available in a power range from 3.3 to 11.2 kilowatts at a maximum speed of up to 3000 rpm.

Reduced Acoustics Signature by 95 Percent

The Hatz D-Series is the first single-cylinder diesel engine family available with the specially developed Silent Pack – an integrated sound-insulated enclosure designed to significantly reduce acoustic emissions. The Silent Pack lowers radiated noise levels by up to 12 decibels at a distance of 7 meters, making it ideal for applications where low acoustic signatures are essential. Its robust sheet-metal enclosure is mounted with structure-borne noise insulation to minimize vibration and sound transmission.

First Fully Electronic and Fully Variable Speed Single-Cylinder Engine

Equipped with Hatz E1 technology, the 1D90E features advanced electronic engine management combined with a core engine platform proven hundreds of thousands of times in the field. For the first time in this performance class, machine manufacturers and operators benefit from fully network-capable solutions based on modern electronic architecture. The integrated ECU and CAN/J1939 communication enable simplified system integration, enhanced diagnostics, real-time engine monitoring, and more efficient operational processes – key advantages for modern defence, security, and mission-critical applications.

Hatz H-Series

Hatz 3H50TIC common-rail diesel engine

High-Performance Common-Rail Engines for Advanced Defence Systems

A groundbreaking downsizing concept formed the basis for the development of the Hatz H-Series, that combines modern common-rail technology, compact design, and exceptional power density for advanced military applications. The result is an exceptionally compact range of turbocharged engines (depending on the variant) delivering up to 64 kW.

They are characterized by smooth operation, dynamic response, and maintenance-friendly design. Their consistently low fuel consumption across a wide load and speed range remains unmatched.
